The 2011 High Adventure trip this year will be to the Havasupi Indian reservation. The dates will be June the 13-17th. This is a beautiful area in Arizona near the grand canyon. It has several water falls that are crystal blue and some are very large. the falls in the pictures are Havasu falls and Mooney falls. Prior to going on the trip we will have a couple of mandatory Shake down hikes.
The tentative schedule is that we will be leaving Monday from the church parking lot at 8:00am? and arriving home that Friday evening.
We will drive most of the day on Monday and camp at the trail head that night. The next morning we will be hiking in 10-12 miles and setting up camp at the falls. We will camp there for three days and hike out on Thursday night camping at the trail head again before departing Friday morning for home.
